Depending on where your views are, this time of year is sweet or sour. Maybe even a little bit of both. We now have entered into the time where sunsets are happening before 8:00 PM. The hot and humid days still linger and I’m sure they will still pop up for another month. This morning we had a moment of reprieve though, with a cool morning in the upper 60’s. The blue skies were dotted with passing white cotton clouds. My favorite part though, is sleeping with the window open with a chorus of crickets serenading the night.
This year, so far, is the oddest and most difficult many of us have been through, and we’re not out of it yet. Spring and summer have been a complete, head-spinning blur. It felt good to just momentarily remove myself from all of it, and just watch the August sun set behind the Walt Whitman bridge.
Your photos always take me for a momentary vacation.
We take what we can get!
